A new concept for the Loud Mouth Collective, The Split EP. It features new tracks from C.F. Meister and Redahan, as well as the two artists remixing each others tracks. This inventive project reflects not only exceptional original productions but also showcases the artists ability to create a strong remix. The Split EP conveys an atmospheric tone throughout, despite both artists having distinctively different production styles.
ʻSheʼs Just Tiredʼ is the latest track from musician, producer and film maker C.F. Meister, it can be described as having essences of beat music from a dub perspective. The track was composed using a finely crafted Tom Waits sample on an MPC 2500, with static from a transistor radio and underlying vinyl loops. ʻSheʼs Just Tiredʼ has an alluring feel to it that creates a downtempo and deep vibe.
We also see the return of Redahan with his latest production ʻcaesuraʼ. While continuing to compose music on reason and recycle, Redahan has incorporated Logic into his musical workshop for his latest project. ʻCaesura' beautifully compliments Redahan's production style with another post-dubstep track, that combines deep bass with some home made percussion. One of the finer elements of Redahan's latest number is his use of melodic and mood defining vocals, which add both warmth and depth to ʻcaesuraʼ.
